Linda Joy Benn is an International Presenter and facilitator, Intuitive Practitioner, Holistic counselling, Spiritual Coach, Pellowah Healing Trainer, and Master NLP Practitioner. Linda Joy is a certified Workplace Trainer & Assessor and qualified in Remedial Therapy, Massage Therapy, Aromatherapy, Practitioner in Ortho-Bionomy®, Facial Harmony Balancing, Ora Vibration Therapy, Reiki, Time Line Therapy® and certified Hypnotherapist.
My journey started when I was a child playing with my sister who died when I was 4 years old. I would talk to her throughout my childhood and play games with her and kept myself entertained in the 'spirit world' which is very familiar to me. When I was a child I used to call it 'magic'. I was not aware at the time that I was blessed with many gifts, I thought everyone could see, feel and hear things like what I was receiving, though now realize that I am blessed with gifts so I can share with everyone who comes into my life on this journey. I chose an interesting journey this life with many challenging experiences. My gifts were crushed for many years as it was not 'accepted' in the family I grew up. I knew I was different and still to this day I have learnt to shine my heart light despite the opinions of others. From these experiences and life changing events I now help others on their journey and totally understand many situations and how to overcome challenges. This has taught me to be strong, focussed, independent, compassionate, determined and never to give up.
At the age of 20 I developed cancer. At that time I was carrying a huge amount of emotional hurt, sadness, rejection, abandonment, and confusion and unconsciously wanted to leave the planet. I left Australia to travel around the world for a few years even though Doctors warned me not to go. I knew I had to leave to find myself. This was the turning point in my life. I was living in San Francisco and met a lady who told me about a psychic healer/clairvoyant in San Jose so we both went to San Jose to have a reading together. He gave me his home number (this is not common practice) I called him as I could feel the emotional pain I was carrying. Every week over several months, I spent days listening to him and learnt so much about life, spirituality and my life purpose. The learnings, insights and understanding I learnt from this man can not be learnt from a book, workshop or college. He was my spiritual teacher who gave me the will to live. He told me if I kept going the way I was I would not be here in a few years. Through this learning and understanding of my past experiences, it has helped me to gain much clarity and how to overcome emotional trauma. From this clarity and insight I can now help others on their journey, to share my story, learnings and gifts to make a difference in many people's lives. Even though my spiritual teacher is no longer in physical body, he is still with me in spirit guiding me on my journey still sharing his wisdom which I will continue to share with others.
I started bodywork/massage several years ago as I knew I had the 'healing touch', over many years I expanded into other areas finding my niche facinated by the mind/body connection with the combination of energy and healing with my clients. My life purpose and passion is to reach out to masses of people through my workshops, seminars, presentations and one on one. I am being guided by spirit with the work I do and the people who come into my life whether it is for bodywork, therapy or friendship, I love empowering, encouraging and inspiring others to take charge of their own lives by being aware of their thoughts and focus on the positive so they attract more positive into their lives to create their future.
Through my workshops I help you to learn in a creative way through love, laughter, fun, joy and adventure. You learn to access your own divinity and become energetically energized by accessing your own natural healing abilities. I incorporate my own life experience to encourage you to believe in yourself, to understand what your life purpose is and to get in touch with your true essence of who you really are. Through this shift in your own consciousness, you can create a life that is totally unlimited with no boundaries, dream and conceive anything you want to fulfill your highest potential and destiny.
I have been on my own spiritual journey for several years and have learned through many experiences. (some not so pleasant!) Now my motto is "I only learn through love, laughter, fun, joy and adventure!!" We do not have to learn the hard way any more as that is an old belief pattern.
Having travelled to many countries, I have been successful in introducing the Pellowah healing technique to raise the awareness and consciousness globally. Pellowah is a tool for enlightenment; through the use of this energy it has a very profound healing influence on both physical and emotional levels.
Everything we think has an effect on our bodies. We create our own lives through our thoughts. Our thoughts can create so called 'illness' or 'dis-ease' in our body and we all have the ability to heal ourselves by changing the way we think.
If we focus on the positive then we receive more positive. I love working with my clients and watching their bodies dissolve into the table as they let go and totally surrender. I like to promote the self healing modality and have always encouraged my clients to continue the healing process by showing them self care exercises to do on a daily basis. It is about taking responsibility for our own health and well being and being aware of our thoughts. Everything we think has an effect on our bodies. We create our own lives through our thoughts. It is empowering for people to take back their own power and not give it away to many medical professionals.
Thought forms are very important and affect our everyday life. We create our reality with thought forms. If we think negative thoughts of persons, places or things, this is what we attract. If we think positive thoughts about all persons places or things, we will attract positive outcomes and events. Be aware of your thoughts and eliminate all unnecessary negative and judgmental ones. A change in consciousness occurs at a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level, which manifests as a cellular alteration.
